2017 was the smallest Deer Camp that we have had. Everyone had something going on this year, but Kruger kept the tradition going by coming up to camp!

| It was raining when Kruger arrived at camp. He had decided to camp out of his trailer in our regular Deer Camp location. He had his Mr. Buddy heater inside of the trailer to keep him warm. He went to bed dreaming of killing the big buck on opening day. It was raining again that night. In the middle of the night, he woke up feeling water drops fall on him. He turned on a light to find the few drops had turned his trailer into in a rain forest with him being covered in water. Kruger then figured out what was going on. The humidity levels were high from the rain, he was breathing inside of the heated trailer, and the condensation had caught up and created a rain forest. He opened up the trailer, aired it out, and dried the ceiling. Opening morning came with more rain and no deer seen. So he came back to camp with his sprits and his cloths both soaked and cold. He went into his trailer to dry out. When he shut the door, well the condensation drops fell again on him. Soaked, no deer, and fighting a losing battle; Kruger hooked up his trailer and headed home. He hunted the next few days from John’s property in Southern Michigan.
